Keeping lobster roaches....

leoking182 Aug 04, 2004 02:21 PM

I know I should have looked into this sooner. But let's just say perhaps 2-5 roaches get out and I didn't know, would they start to breed like crazy and I have roaches all over the place? I just received 100, and am very paranoid about this happening. I just don't want this to happen I might just want to sell them and get crickets again. I will try to breed those again. Thank you.

I think it would depend on your climate. Here in Upstate NY I don't worry. Any roaches I have had escape I have found in the room (basement herp room) and they are slow and unhappy even in the hotter herp room. I think they get chilly and the chances for reproduction reduces.
