Leo_21 Aug 04, 2004 02:27 PM

I have a baby leopard gecko that i recently. I have a food bowl in the tank that always has 10 mealworms. But he will not eat from it. He will eat from my hand and in the cave but i have never seen him eat from the bowl. How can i get him to eat from the bowl?

Try putting them in front of the gecko then luring him/her towards the bowl. when they're finally near the bowl make sure they see the mealworms... they do that... head snap to attention thing when they see food. I place my insects in my cage witha spoon and my leos have attributed the spoon to food, so they basically run after it and bite the spoon. So i'll lure them over with the spoon then they'll see the food
Try it and good luck
