Do you have any pics of that female (or male) that you use for those Eastern King Brooksi crosses ? I saw the one posted below just curious if you had a full body shot .Whats the stats on that animal i.e. size, age etc... Its from Kevin Enge right ? Thanks in advance Rainer.

You're progressing down the path to hybridization Keith...

First it was those non-locale easterns...

Now you're interested in these hypo brooksi/getula crosses?

What's next?

I think we need an intervention...

Doesn't matter if it is technically a cross or technically a hybrid. There is a discussion board for that and this is not the board!

Keith was asking me about a locality eastern king I received from kevin Enge that I used to breed to my hypo brooksi. He wants to see a picture of it.

Out of curiousty he wanted to see the F2 hypoXeastern .Probably to see what it looks like and to make sure nobody tries to pull something by unloading a fake.

Neither one is a hybrid.

Read the PS, it says "product of cross."
Its like talking about milksnakes here. Sure they're closely related to kingsnakes but they have their own forum. Why piss everybody off?
Cross, hybrid...whatever. The hybrid forum is the place for this discussion.

Whoa ! My post was innocent I just wanted see a adult Enge GA Eastern plus Im curious to see what the Hypo "Unnatural intergrade" looks like and if you want to be technical its just an intergrade. No I dont want to buy any but I do want to see what they look like hence the post. I gotta glimpse of Rainers Eastern and I wanted to see the whole thing just cause I love Easterns and for no other reason.

Maybe THAT would be a great alternative for those thinking about defending the moral hi-ground?I enjoy kingsnakes, and there will only be more man-made kings every year. What difference does it make if you breed(cross)across arbitrary lines?Chances are very slim that ANY of the snakes we breed together in captivity would find THAT exact mate in the wild dont you think?I had been well versed in locality snake breeding NA milks for 15 years and I happen to have noticed that most if not ALL of my peers have defected from the hobby.Coincidence? The moral hi-ground just CANT be defended and that is why as far apart as Keith and Rainer are about things,I think it important that we all learn from their sarcastic take on tolerance.Just my opinion,Jeff

also in a lot of other forums (like one of the lizard ones I read) people will post about their ball python, or their turtle or whatever. Nobody jumps on them because these people are posting to those they know best--their friends on that forum. Nobody tells them to go to another forum unless nobody in their usual forum can help them. And sometimes they just want to show off things they are proud of (I've seen horse pics in there)
