Just something I was sitting here thinking about when it comes to feeder insects. How would someone establish a mostly "clean" food source out of a wild caught insect... say.. the black field crickets you find so often everywhere.. (Not the best choice but this is an example)to produce a parasite free or almost parasite free insect? Is it just a process of taking the eggs and hatching them in sterile conditions or what? I know how they do flies.. they steralize and irradiate the eggs before hatching them for medical use as Maggots..Just one of those questions that popped up in my head....Wanted some insight/information from others.
