I noticed some scales on the back of my burm closer to the head end that look wrinkled or dead. There doesn't seem to be any mites and i have no idea what's going on.

I noticed some scales on the back of my burm closer to the head end that look wrinkled or dead. There doesn't seem to be any mites and i have no idea what's going on.
My burm has many like this. They're not creased, they just look dented in the center. They don't look dead though, they still have full color.
Yea, mine has some on diferent areas of the body. I think they are from being bent or dented from handling them and they rub against you backwards which turns the scales backwards or dents them. IT realy does not hurt them I do not think anyways.

Moses will get a folded under belly scale. I tried to work it out but it doesn't seem to help. Litter will sometimes get stuck inside of it.
