very nice uros though. Just out of curiosity, do you have some sort of humidity hide, or do you bath your uros, or what? Just asking because my mali has been having a little trouble finishing up her shedding, and I have sort of a humid hide (I have a soil substrate, but it's set up as a thin layer much like a sand setup, and then I just put more in the hide spots so she can dig them out...I keep it watered regularly). I was wondering if maybe I should bath her? I'm just a little worried about the tail and getting it to dry enough.

But great looking uros all in all. Oh, and where do you get the red sand? I want to experiment with my next batch of soil to try to bring more color into it.

100 degree water for anywhere from 5-10 minutes i never dry them off though, if your basking spot is where its supposed to be theres no need to as soon as i put them back in they go straight to the basking spot and dry themselves off and the sand is the zoo med repti-sand is real desert sand, very very fine and almost dust free its better then playsand alot finer but cost alot more, but its worth it to me, i buy them at reptile shows its cheaper there, i pretty much care for them in the same ways doug dix and lindsay pike do i try to care for them as they would, to me there the best in anything having to do with uros , i'm not really into the dirt thing and that sorta power growing or whatever u may call it lol that robyn in pro exotics is doing but more power to him to each his own , i just think that in the long run raising them like they are in the wild which is like 3-4 years to become adults is the healthiest way , well at least to me it is, well thats it, and thanks for the compliments guys all your uros are off tha hook too lol
