trouble catching food

my female stoped eatting for 2 weeks and has just started eating again last friday ago but she seems to have a hard time catching them and gets streesed cuz she cant catch them. is there anything i could do to help her? like pinch there legs off? any advise would be great.

Try cut short their anntenna (sp?), and pull off the jumping hind legs.

i dont think she will go for mealworms that are in a bowl and if i put them in front of her they wont move so she wont see them. and i know what your going to say to pinch there heads in front of her but she wont go for them either if my hand is in there. yeah i know she is pritty stuborn but im worryed bout her. my male will eat like 20-30 mealworms out of a bowl and out of my hand. and my baby albino has no trouble catchin cickets even in the light and i herd that albinos are more sensative to light. and sorry for the long post.

what i do cuz my female is also "challenged" :D
i take a spoon and basically snap down between the crix head and body. This makes them twitch but unable to run away.
Tis cruel i know, but it works :P

thats the thing she wont eat with a spoon in there becuase i tryed that with mealworms and she doesnt go for them. i dont know whats worng with her.

what works with my friends leo is you grab a cricket and take tweezers and hold its abdomon so it sqirms in their face... it might take a few minutes but they will eventually eat it...

thanx for all your guys help.she is now eating crickets on her own shes been eating 4-5crickets a nite which i think is still too little so im still getting the fecal done.just to make sure she is ok.
