New litter

Jeff Clark Aug 04, 2004 07:54 PM

This litter was born between 2AM and 8AM this morning. The mother was born here five years ago. She has been real blown up the last few weeks and I was expecting her to lay at any time. She did not start getting restless and cruising the cage until last night. There were 18 live babies and one stillborn and 2 slugs. At least there were two slugs left when I found the litter this morning. They were born inside a clay flowerpot and several had climbed out before I removed the flowerpot and took this picture.

I've been off the last couple of days, so I just saw the pics of the last litter tonight....SAAAAHHHHWEEEEET!!!...I love the "DOTS"....it's clear that you have some really awesome stock. I was hoping to see some of your stuff at Daytona...but I just started a new job a couple of days ago and before I could even bring up the time off I was told I would be needed that weekened for inventory preperation.........

Take care, Chris O

Tim,
I am having a better year than the last few. I am glad you and I are not going to have to start selling our amelanistic slugs again. Several customers were unhappy when they started going bad.
Jeff

You don't have to feed them, and they work great on the putting green.
