Hey tony,
All members of the prasinus complex possess these darkened pads on the bottom of their feet. I believe V. glebopalma(black palmed) have these as well, to my understanding. So, what your blue has is not an infection, or anything to worry about.
Cheers, talk to you later tony,
bob
As Bob says, all of the prasinus-group, most indicus-group, and many of the smaller Odatria monitors (glebopalma, pilbarensis, glauerti, tristis, scalaris, etc.) have darkened scales on their palms and soles, and often under the fingers and toes. In some species these are enlarged and rubbery, and almost feel sticky to the touch. They assist the animal's feet to maintain tight contact with surfaces on which they are climbing, and the outer surfaces are shed, just as in other scales.
Nothing is wrong with your animals!
