There are a few frogs that can only be found on the O’odam Indian Reservation in sw Arizona. I plan on obtaining all permits required, including asking the Indian police for permission. Is there any thing else I should know before heading there? I’m taking only photos. Anyone want to meet up or tag along, email. Raintoad@hotmail.com. I’ll be camping for a week in southern Arizona (5 to 7 days).

Things must be very different down there these days. I tried to obtain information on gaining permission to enter the reservation for herping and was asked if I was a member of the reservation. I said, no, and was treated very rudely. I was actually threatened as well. I was able to speak to the president of the reservation back in '93 and was able to get nowhere.

Sounds like a good plan you have there, but if Jaren is right, you may have trouble succeeding. I would imagine if you are not collecting that you shouldnt have trouble but he made it sound like you cannot gain access to the reservation no matter what. Are you certain that some of the area surrounding will not have them at all? Well good luck, I hope you can get your photos!
