Herping in Thailand

gothai Aug 05, 2004 03:25 AM

So i have been coming on this website for a little while and have only just seen that there is an Aian portion of the website.

Awesome.

I am currently living in the south of thailand and have recently
refound my passion for herps, snakes in particular.

The only thing is I don't rewally know where is ggod to go and I don't have much experience.

I did find a big cobra the other day, fantastic, and last night a chequered keel back and a dog faced water snake which was nice because they obviously aren't venomous and I got to handle one of the snakes.

I would really like to know though if anyone knows of any herping societies of any kind in thailand or where I would be able to pick up Thongs of any kind.

I would really appreciate any help anyone has to offer as there are so many herps in thailand that I would love to see and learn about
and your halp would really be appreciated.

Thanks
