Co-dominant co-dominant ?

draconian Aug 05, 2004 08:39 AM

The ebony ball was created from 2 co-dominant traits. Now does that hold for all co doms. Have there been morphs were the co-dom genes do not mix. Just wondering.

It looks like mojave is going to be co-dominant and mojave pastel seems to be about what you would expect for a simple combination of the two appearances with no big surprises like with pewters (pastel cinnamon) and ebony (yellow belly granite).

I would have to also point out that I don't think we know what the super granite will be like so can't say for sure that granite is co-dominant and not completely dominant. Maybe the super will look enough like an ebony that we wouldn't have been surprised by this combo either if the super granite came first.
