BRB went off food.

trustwhitey Aug 05, 2004 10:20 AM

My boa went into blue and shed about a month ago. Normally, it has a voracious appetite after a shed, but it has refused the two F/T rats that I've offered it since. The rats are from the same batch that it ate prior to the shed. It did pass its last meal.
It's gotten warmer lately, and I was wondering if that would actually suppress its appetite. How long should I give it before becoming really concerned?

Thanks for any and all help,
Noah

Noah,
If your cage temperature has gone up with the warmer seasonal temperature that very well may be the reason the snake has gone off feed.
Good luck,
Jeff
