I have seen this a few times before, all in the same population.

Interesting,we have a population of them here that have yellow bellies.

Many years ago I saw a group of w/c aduts that came into PET FARM (a South Fl wholesaler-no longer in business).

Those had black saddles on a smokey red body. These (I was told) came from Indiana.

Connant refers to the red color and I also found a discription in my Minnesota book which mentioned red spotting.
