i got my rats and mice from rodentpro today which always makes me happy. Anyway there wassomething real funny on the box, in big bold letters it said "Frozen Meat" i though wow my snakes are getting like steak they better start being nicer to me now. lol.

YAY!!

I love rat delivery day!! It's like Christmas.

On a side note, I am noe buying rats and mice in several sizes for my snakes, and jumbo rats for my cat, who has severe allergies to cat food. The vet has suggested, as a last resort, to try feeding something exclusively that she has never had, like rabbit. I told the vet I had a freezer full of rats. She thought that was a little weird, but said go ahead and try boiled, ground rats. MMMMmmmmmmmm..........

theres so way id be able to boil a rat in my house i cant even defrost the rats anywhere but the snakeroom.

My wife won't even let me bring frozen rodents into the house! She did at one time but I got some bad rodents from Petco(Who I will never buy anything from ever again)and when I defrosted them they stunk up the whole house! Talk about rotten meat. Needless to say that was the end of frozen rodents for me.

I buy live rodents and anything with teeth like hoppers and adults I prekill before feeding and my snakes still constrict them. Pinkies/fuzzies can't bite my snakes back so I feed those live.

Myfamily has given up on fighting me in any way over the whole reptile/animal thing. It took them sometime, but they have lerned better.
