leoman89 Aug 05, 2004 12:42 PM

hi i just got my female baby rainwater albino last month and she will be 3 months old on the 11th. she eats a lot of crickets every day but she eats so much at once she doesnt swallow them rite away she just eats a bunch and than you can see the purple in he neck so i take her out and hold her and make sure that she swallows them and she does. i was just wondering if that was normal for a baby. sorry for the long post.

Its normal that leos are pigs but its not healthy
you could risk it choking, you really shouldn't hold it after it eats, instead let it sit in its warm spot and digest.

My suggestion is don't throw all the crix in at once, throw a few in wait till its eaten them all and swallowed then throw more in.
good luck

the only reason that i would hold her was to make sure she did swallow because she wouldstill go after more crickets even if she had one in her mouth.

Less food items more often is the only way to help that
