I just found out I have to go to the Fresno/Lemoore area on business Monday. I booked an extra day to check out the scenery. Does anyone know of any good places to go herping near there?

Hi Tom I live in Fresno, and when I was younger It was easy to find cal. Kings. I haven’t looked much in the last 10 years so I couldn’t tell you were to go. Back then we use to go out to the fig orchards and different places on the San Joaquin River to drink beer. We weren’t really looking for kings but never seem to have trouble finding them. When I go out know I’m usually high in the mountains enjoying some peace and quit looking for Zonatas.
It has been averaging about 100 so keep that in mind and good luck.
