>>My neighbor gave us her black rat snake and a week later told us that there were illegal in washington state. I called the local fish and wild life the zoo's and some local vets but all saild they didn't "do" reptiles so if anyone knows if there legal or knows were to find out I really need to know.
The only herps illegal in all of washington state are giant african clawed frogs and cane toads.. Everything else is fine. I don't know of any county laws either banning obsoleta either.. Whoever told her that needs to look into what she says before she says it. lol. I live in King County where pretty much everything short of non venomous colubrid are illegal. lol.
