Cant find specific feeding info...

I have a baby who is now three weeks old, shed eight days ago. I offered her a live pinkie two days after shed with no interest at all and again today. What is the best way to offer the food? I know my yearling likes to eat in the dark when he's feeling picky and it seems the more active the food, the quicker he becomes interested. I feed him out of his tank. I offered her in her tank and tried first in the dark and today in the light. I left the pinkie for about four hours with her just in case. Any one have any tips that only experience can bring? She's my first baby and I want to do it right. Thanks in advance for any help!!!!!!!

I have a baby around the same age.I fed her in a shoe box. I used live rat pinkies and she took a few minutes but ate. Hope that helps.

The funny thing is that mine only eats pinks. She dont like hoppers . LOL Real picky but thats what makes it fun.

My baby ball was a reluctant eater too. I purchased a small "feeder box." It's just a small rubbermaid about half the size of a shoe box. The other thing I do is feed at night 9pm-midnight, keep the lights low or cover with a towel to reduce distractions. Try some of these and see if it works. But also, don't get too impatient, sometimes it takes a while before they start eating strong.
