A few weeks ago I was kinda thrilled to hear that Reptilemax sells Ankaramy. But then when i checked it out, none of them are really Ankaramies. For one, you dont see anything resembling any pink coloration, and you do not see any greens on their head on on their crests. I wouldn't suggesting buying one if you wanted an ankaramy, as these clearly are not. But if you think they look good, and dont midn a rainbow, then go ahead.

Hiya,

I am by no means an expert on Ankaramy's, but in my eyes that definatly isn't one of them. Personally I don't even think you could tag him with a name. I can't think of any locals that look like him. Nonetheless he is a fantastic looking animal ( as all chameleons are

Just my 2 cents,

Rene Imming.

Here is a pic of an ankaramy. I have seen juveniles with blue bars, but not like that.

That is for sure not an Ankaramy. If you look on their web site they are claiming the males they have to be adults. Believe me, adults don't look anything like that. If you also look at a few of the other males available they too don't look at all like an Ankaramy, in fact one looks like a Tamatave. Check www.screameleons.com for pics of what an adult Ankaramy should look like or check out the adcham website for further pics.
