I just lost one of my closest friends and just thought I needed to share!

googo151 Aug 06, 2004 01:55 AM

Hey,
This is way off topic, but I just want to say to all of you here, as this is kind of a home to me, if you know what I mean, that it is so nice to feel like this is home in some odd way, but in a good way at the same time. The amount of time that I spend here with all of you great Curtus, and Brongersmai folk here, is so important to me that I wouldn't know what I would do without it. You are all an integral part of my life and I just want to share that with all of you, whether new to the forum or old timers alike. Much love and peace and happiness. Keep on rocking the blood and short-tail world.

Hey,
Thanks guys, and Kevin, no offense taken, I know that it was a bit off topic, but sometimes we feel the need to share. At any rate, thanks. The friend was a person, and he was one of my closest buddies. He'll be missed!

I too have found this forum as my home,I glad you feel comfortable enough to share such a tragedy such as losing a friend, let alone a best friend.I too have lost 2 best friends from highscool a year ago and then 4 years ago to DRUGS,what a waste and a loss.Anyway, MY SYMPATHIES. Ashley Lopez

Hey Ashely,
Thanks for sharing your story, the circumstances were similar in my case, drugs kill. Sometimes there is no getting through to people about the dangers and severity and tragically, they end their lives short. Much love!

I've lost a friend to drugs about a year and a half ago. Also my best friend to this day lost his father to drugs when he was 15. So your not the only one man, hope things turn around. This is starting to become more of a family than a message board. We do definately have the best board on here but I'm a little bias.

Hey J,
Thanks for the kind words. I think you're right when you say we have the best message board here. I have to agree whole heartedly.

That's cool you can express yourself here on a snake forum.Sorry for your loss,I finally can feel what a lot of people feel one a loved one is gone. For my grandma just passed away, along with my 4 year old daughters god father, my neighbor, and two people from my work all this year.My sympathies go out to you too.I plan to plant some trees in thier names in my yard in their memory.

Hey Ethan,
Thanks for the condolence. Yeah, I guess that this has been some thing of a weird ride for me and was feeling it last night as I was posting a reply, and the thought occurred to me to post something about it. I wasn't expecting such out pouring from so many people, but it really means a lot to me that so many of you have shared your stories with me. Thanks to all of you for your support and kind words. Your blood pal in arms. A special thanks to you Ethan, and my codolence to you and your family.
