hello every one i was lookin at this one light bulb its a UVB and sumtin else UV i think but i was wonderin wut wattage i should get to heat a 55 wide tank. i dont wanna get the wrong one cuz the bulb is 50 bux. ty in advance

The wattage you need is dependant on a lot of different factors, making it difficult to say exactly which one you'd need. If there was just one wattage we could all use, it would sure make life easier, though. 
What I do is simply buy one, keep the receipt, and trade it in as needed. Or, if you get one that's too warm, you can just hang it a little further away from the basking spot to reduce the heat.
Is the bulb you are talking about a Murcury Vapor Bulb? If so, those are good bulbs, but be careful and read the directions closely. They can be dangerous if used incorrectly.
