Good pics of Arancio

Classic_Dums Aug 06, 2004 06:04 AM

Despite the fact that alot of genetics crap has been going on about him, I did get some awesome photos of him last night. Call him what you will, but he is one awesome looking snake! And he likes to have his picture taken. It was fun to take pictures of Arancio and I got some good shots. Poor Jason isn't the best picture taker, so I took a shot at it, they turned out really nice IMO. They show more of his true colors than alot of pictures we have of him. Enjoy and please don't start crap about him. I just wanted to share some awesome pics of an awesome snake.

I love to take pictures and have done alot of reading and wasted rolls of flim trying to figure out lighting, placement, angles, etc etc. Jason just points and shoots....LOL. I'll have to post the pic of the copperhead we found this year, it's a killer once in a lifetime pic. I am very proud of that. My mother who is a snake hater even said it was a beautiful picture, which made me cry coming from her.

Thanks old man...LOL. Oh I mean new wife. I was impressed with these pics of him myself. We took an entire roll of him and only a few didn't turn out very well! See you at Tinley, and since you are Jason's new wife, I guess that means the drinks are on him huh???

Regardless of his genetics, I love this snake. The contrast is incredible, very clean looking snake. You've both got a right to be proud.

P.S.
Will you be bringin any of his offspring to MARS? If all goes well, I plan to be there (providing work doesn't prevent it anyway) and would love to see this guy's offspring in person. It's been my experience that photos are good but do these incredible animals little justice to real life.

You get off work so you can be there and Ill bring Arancio for ya to check out! deal?

I've had to take on a part-time job at good ol' WalMart...and you know how difficult it is to get weekends off with retail. I would love to see this guy in person though....I've been drooling over pictures of him since the first time I remember you posting one. He's just such a beautiful animal.

But you sure do take a LOT better pics of Arancio-LOL! That is probably the best pic I've seen of him to be honest. He looks great, REGARDLESS of genetics!!! Take care Danni, see ya in Tinley

I gaurantee you that this snake is twice as nice in person. Dums got to be the toughtest snake to photograph. The colors do not show up very well.

PBM Aug 07, 2004 09:55 PM

Oh yeah, I've seen him in person....just stating Danni's pics came out better than Jasons have in the past. I have a heck of a time photographing my dumerils myself. Take care
