They come form the Gran Chaco just like Waxy monkey tree frogs, but instead of basking on a branch, they hide in the dense foliage. Warm temperatures around 90-95 F work well and low humidity. I don't sugest mixing species, the stress will be a deadly factor, as hypos aren't very active hunters and the lizards would surely out compete them for food. Hope this helps.
