I went down to clean cages last night and was greeted by the sight of an obviously infertile egg in the cage of my 10 year old female. It was large, about 3" long, and hard to the touch. I'll post a pic if anyone is interested. She's never been in the presence of a male due to her small size (about 4.5 feet). Anyone ever heard of this? Should I worry about her becoming egg bound? I palpated her belly and didn't feel anything, but I'm no vet. She still feeds fine, so I'm not sure what to think. Thanks.
