whats cost to ship a ball from chicago to nj?

I thought shipping was $25-30 but im seeing different prices, does distance contribute to the price? How much would it cost to send a baby ball from chicago to nj as of now I dont know what shipping company

I normally would charge $40.00 which may be a little more than some other people but I don't repack animals in used boxes which can contribute to mites/ticks and or diseases.
The shipping itself may cost me $33.00 alone but I take into account the cost of the double insulated boxes I use.
I also include at no additional charge heat or cold packs if needed.

zonal, so the further the more $$. Also box SIZE and WEIGHT are considerations. With LIGHT WEIGHT shipments the SIZE of the box comes into play. I use mostly small vaccine boxes from the pharmaceutical industry so box size is smaller and shipping $$ is too. Scott J. Michaels DVM
