FOr those that use/have used RHP

I have a Q on the RHP. My Coastal temps are fine but I would prefer a UTH. I have my RHPs on the back side of my melamine enclosure. I read on the hazard warning that they can not be covered.

So my Q.....can I place the RTH on the floor of my enclosure. I forgot to mention I use Indoor/outdoor carpet in my cages. Risk of fire is the 1st and formost concern.
