thats a female finschi correct? too bad, im looking for a male. first pic is the yellow form of doreanus, never saw one in person, but sure is beautiful. best of luck! -john
sometime they are yellow or blue or green or purple brown and sometime they exibit all colors, iv never seen such color changing ability in any monitors iv kept before, simply an amazing monitor.

Just looking at the head, it is a beautiful animal. I'd be interested in seeing what the body looks like, color and pattern-wise. Take care,

WoW! That salvadorii is amazing! Is that the jayapura locality? BTW, will you have any jayapuras avalible? I was looking at the pics on cyber sal and the jaya is incredible!
its from Bewani mowntain, however they call them Jayapuran because its illegal to collect fauna from Bewani.
I no longer keep these but aim thold that the female ovulated and was matted, however the new owner wishes they whould only breed next year. also just my opinion Sorong crocs are just as nice looking and are much smaller, perhaps better suited for captivity? Bewani crocs grew to 8feet in one year time as oposed to 6feet for Sorong crocs kept in similar husbandry, the scary part is that the female is only slightly smaller then the male at present. and yes its a pair 100%
Thanks for the info. I'll look into the sorongs. The jayapura just got me at first, it had to be the best looking croc I've ever seen.
Thanks again for the info.
steeve, what locale is that?
andrew

I sold these monitors to members of these forums, however the photos where taken in my back yard in large pens with lexan walls.
