Tail rattled and housing questions

bmulcahy Aug 06, 2004 12:34 PM

I have six corns in my class and I have had four of them for almost two years. They are handled all the time and never a problem. Today after feeding one of them I touched him in his cage( I feed in a seperate container and then place in the cage after feeding)and his tail started rattling loud enough to hear a couple of feet away? Any thoughts? He has never done anything aggressive in two years.

Second question - I had to switch classes and my new classroom is smaller and not enough room for all my tanks. I used to keep four of the corns together and seperated the two males from the females about 7 months ago. Can I put them back together in a large tank?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Brian

Your corn rattled probably because it just eat and didn't wanted to be disturbed.
If you put them in a big enough cage and they were all fine before. I would also make sure to separate them all when you feed them if you dont. I would still keep a close eye on them to.
