Weird Bumps... please help

ShadowDruid Aug 06, 2004 01:37 PM

Hello, my collared, Dakota, I noticed has 3 lil bumps where his tail meets his body. They look like little bumpy things, like bones are sticking out... he's not in pain or anything.. I saw someone else with a picture of their collared with the same thing.. so I was just wondering if this was normal... or if something is wrong with him... maybe he's underfed ? Any info would be appreciated thanks.

Tobias has the same thing, however I've only noticed two little bumps. They seem like bone to me. However, I'm no expert, as I'm sure you've noticed. ^^;

Are the bumps colored. When I first got my male he had about 4 bumps that were reddish brown, turned out to be mites. They usually lie in joint areas. If they are mights if you rub some olive oil on them it should suffocate the mites and they will fall off. Hope this was helpfull.
