OK I know absolutely nothing about electricity.I was wondering how many watts is alot?I have 300 watts running in my house and I was wondering how much it can handle?Anyone know?

You have a lot more then 300 watts running in your house.. unless you mean specifially for your reptiles. It will all depend on your circuit breaker and how many amps.. not watts.. it will hold.

More then likely, your house will have many different circuits running to different outlets.. if your house is real old i could be totally wrong.. i'm just speaking about the average house that's out there right now.

If you blow a breaker by plugging in to many reptile lights
try running the lights to another outlet... in another room if possible for best results.

Yes lol I meant specifically for my reptiles.Microwave alone use 1200 lol.
