Not getting any mealies

I have several batches of beetles (at least 50 per) in some sterilite containers. Lving ina substrate of oats and deh milk and baby rice. They are warm and have accees to moisture. Just not getting any mealies. It has been a month easily since I set up the first batch. Any ideas???

The beetles will live for about 3 weeks, then it'll be another 3-4 weeks after they die before you see baby mealworms, and then another month or so before the mealworms are big enough for you to feed to your pets.

I hope I never have this problem. I had about 4 tubs of beetles. They were on oats and I cut up a potato for them. I put them in the basement and forgot about them for I have no idea how long, and when I opened them up the I had thousands of worms of all sizes, and beetles. I read somewhere, probably on here, that these things 'thrive on neglect'... thats just about right.

Just forget about them for a month and check.. you'll be surprised.
