moldy branches....

Ralph Aug 06, 2004 04:48 PM

Hi,

These new branches I just purchased turned moldy within a month of time in my green tree set-up. Do I have to treat the branches in some way to avoid them from molding up again. I was planning on dunking them in a bleach water solution to kill what has grown on them as of now. How can I prevent this?

Ralph

What type of branches are you using? Some just mold under humid conditions. There is nothing you can do about it to my knowledge other than to change the type of branch.

If you spray the water with a jet of water it will kill it for now.

Hi,

Thanks for the input, I think I'm gonna switch to pvc. Seems easier to keep and neater.

thanks again,

Ralph
