I purchased this corn, Merlin about a year ago as a ghost. But as he's growing he's getting more yellow on his sides and a nice peach on his head.
Would he be considered a carmel corn?

That is a ghost.
A lot of, if not most ghost corns, develop yellow along their neck. Some more then others but it is common.

Thanks Jimmy and Tracy. He is a real stunner. I'm lucky to have him. Thanks for the input. I guess I don't recall ghosts having yellow down their sides. It always amazes me the variety of color you can get with corns, even from the same color morphs. I love corns!
