hi someone just gave me a 4 foot igg but it has worms i was wondering is there any de worming products i could buy at a pet store or something or over the net cause there is not a herp vet around here

Your ig needs a vet. Where are you? Maybe we can help find you a vet. Check out anapsid.org vet listings, arav.org, vetquest.com, greenigsociety.com has a vet list I believe? etc

whenever you get a new iguana it should be wormed. i use rid worm, that you get at pet stores whenever i get a new reptile as routine. but if your ig clearly has the signs of worms (underweight,seeing them in the poo, irregular looking poo,) it should see a vet. the meds you get at the pet store are not as effective as the ones the vet will give you. in fact im taking my mali uromastyx to the vet today for his 2nd treetment for worms. good luck
