how do i fatten it

LeopardGecko05 Aug 06, 2004 11:57 PM

Basically I just want to know would to fatten up my gecko. I think it is about 2 to 3 months old or so. But I only had it for about 2 weeks. It's not sick or anything, it's just that its tail looks somewhat plump is that a good sign?

P.S. how do I put pic up for everyone to see?

If the tail is plump, that's good; fat and nutrients are stored in the tail so a plump tail means a healthy gecko.

The best way to fatten a leo..
1) feed a variety of bugs
2) feed WELL gutloaded prey
3) feed often and let the gecko eat a lot

I purchased a male that was only about 35 grams (1 yr old) but he's up to about 50 now from about a month of good feeding.
