I measured the shed of my 2 year old male amel striped corn and he is 53 inches. I was told that striped corns were on the smaller side but this doesn't seem very small.

53 inches is pretty big for even a fairly old cornsnake, IMO. I know that some corns do get quite large, but mine (ages 2-6) are all still under 42 inches long.

However, that said, you can't go by a shed skin. The skins stretch to be MUCH longer than the actual snake.

I would say that for a two year old, a good average would be about 3 feet long.

I don't have a clue on a lot of snake things really. Silly me thought that a shed would shrink up once off the snake with drying out. But he IS big. My two year old blizzard corn male is around the 3 foot range and this guy is MUCH bigger. Once he digests his last meal I'll try to get a measurment on him.
