I have noticed that most of the "huge" burms are in breeding prodjects. Most people who burms will only keep them till they get "to big to handle", and so they actively look for someone to buy or just take them. If you are realy looking for a "huge" snake I would say find a breed and ask them about one.

The post before this one brought up a very good point. But the truth is, most burms dont get that huge. I heard it said that a burm (or retic) over 20 feet is about like a person over 7 feet. There are 7 foot tall people, just like there are 20 foot pythons. But these are not the norm. The amount of food that a 20 foot snake would require is immense, and something the average keeper is really not prepared for. I know there are huge snakes out there, because I have seen some of them. I just dont think there are that many that arent being bred. And from what I know, a 100 lb male, would be a pretty big male. I would love to see some pics. Heres one of my 12 ft female.

I will try and get pictures..i dont have a dig cam..so i just download the pics froma disk to the computer..but any ways..yeh its a pitty you dont see any of the ''real'' burms or retics. seems like they only get like up to the 15 foor mark..thats a really nice smake you have there..whats weird my burm is only like 3 years old..so he is pretty big for his age..i will post pics..i just hope someday soon..the burms will start growing to what a burm or retic should be..a female that is

I posted this one a little earlier in the forum. He's between 12-14, not quite a 100 pounds, but I think he's pretty big.
