I had about 90% of the lid covered with glass, but the humidity was a little low so i closed the rest of it off, now i have knats in my viv! Has anyone had this problem before? WHat did you do about it? I dont have any, or plan on getting any darts for a while, but will they hurt the plants??

Thanks mark

I have them in most of my terrariums. The frogs seem to love them. I don't think they will hurt your plants, well at least they haven't harmed my plants.

Gnats and Gnu begin with a "G." Knife and Knights in shining armor who "know" enough to be gnostics, begin with a "K." Your plants will not be affected by gnats and the frogs will "gnobble" them up.

God forbid, but I'm one of those ancient old third grade English teachers weilding a dangerous ruler, grammatical rules and monitoring spelling bees. We are one of the most endangered species of all.

You're a good sport to put up with this.
