They love high basking temps, they dislike water, unless theres something wrong, they dig like a mining crew and love hard packed dirt thats deep. They eat insects, quail, and little mice in captivity and love to see everything going on, they are brave little critters.

Just wondering, when you feed your ackies quail, do you feed them adult or baby quails? Also, should you cut the Quail into appropriate size and offer it like that, or can you just give an ackie a whole quail and it will like take bites out of it or something like that?
