Snakes in Darkness???

Langi Aug 07, 2004 05:01 PM

Are there any health problems that might come from snakes (corns in this case)not getting enough daylight? I have a rack system I bought but the cages are very dark. Should I be fixing this asap or not worried about it?

everything i've been told as long as they get enough to tell when the sun is up and down then it's fine. this can be ambient light from windows or if you turn your light in the room on during the day or whatnot, it'll all be fine. thats what i've been told, at least. i keep mine under a blacklight on one side of the tank (used for heating only), and they get the ambient light from the windows and they seem fine.
