look what i got today in hamburg. was the only male cb yellow anaconda. he so great.

there was only 3 greens at hamburg. 2 had just bin brought in from brazil and had mites and looked really bad. they also were about 5-6 feet. i saw this one and asked if it was male or female and it was female. (for you that dont know Annie turned out to be a male) its hard to tell in the pic becouse there is bad lighting and she is underwater but she is bright orange with a red belly. She is an amazing animal and is feeding on f/t rat fuzzys.

I almost got a green today. but I setlled for a retic. It was cheapr and looks great. The greens I saw were in perfect conditon and all but they were $100. I only had $40 of spending money and had to borrow $25 from my dad, so I bought a beutiful retic for $65. I'm not going o keep on about this (go to the retic forum for that). The guy had some yellows anies for $125. I do not realy have any interest in yellows though. I am just not attracted to them for some reason. If somoene messed up on telling you that annie was a girl how do you know that some did not mess up on this one. Just soemhting to think about. how's your retic a doin'?

i was the one that sexed Annie. i had bin spur sexing and never really could see very good. i got a magnifieing glass and looked close and saw that he was a male. at the show they guy had probed and spur sexed it and i also spured sexed it being that i new what i was looking for. anacondas r pritty hard to keep and if ur liveing at home i would not recamend one. the humidity and temps can be hard to get right and stuff.

If I'm living at home? I'm not sure I follow. Do you mean I'm not moved out? I can get the heat, temps, etc. right. That is no problem. Heat tape is the best thing ever made. Humidity is pretty simple for me. If I do get a conda later (several months unless someone gives one away) I will get captive born. The only reason I got the imported retic is because i know the person real well and it was wormed and had a great body shape and great temperment. You would not be able to tell the difference from it and captive born. It is in perfect condition. you do not have to worry. I do know what I'm getting into with these giants as I'm sure you do to.
