Finally got the new barneck out into the natural sunlight for some pics. I just love iridescence.

Very, very nice scrub you have there. The irridescence of these guys is nothing short of breathtaking. I'm attaching a photo to this of the big female southern I was speaking to you about before. It shows some fairly nice irridescence. I'm definitely going to have to set aside the room and funds soon to get back into the scrubs. I'd really like to find the person mine ended up with and see if he/she is willing to part with them yet...lol. Keep the pictures coming!

Hey Chance,

Thanks for the complement; I’ll pass it on to her highness. She doesn’t always hear (if she could hear) such nice things coming from my mouth since more often than not she is trying to hurt me, or at least threatening to do so. You know how scrubs can be. The male I used to have rarely ever tried to bite, so maybe she will calm down in time.

While I certainly own and have owned plenty of snakes that don’t display iridescence, that is a trait I have always admired. I am almost certainly going to be getting some white-lips in the future, as well as a single male yellow-headed retic. Twice in the past I have owned sunbeam snakes, which are about as iridescent as they come.

And that does look like a good size scrub in that picture you posted. It reminds me of one that I took yesterday, although from a different perspective. I’ll attach that as well as one other.

P.S. The photo wouldn't load on my computer when I hit preview, so I don't know if it will load for any of you or not. If not, below is a link to the picture.

Sorry for the double post above. Like I said, I was having trouble with that image and must have posted twice.

Anyhow, here is one from inside her cage

I love how in the last pic, it seems like you could almost 'touch' the irridescence bordering her scales. I really need to stop looking at your pictures...lol....it's going to make me have to buy even more cages and get scrubs again! Maybe after my retics and Centralians give me a few nice babies I'll get back into the scrubs. If I had a spare $600 just lying around, I wouldn't mind picking up that very, very large female southern Cen FL has been advertising for a while. Ah well...one of these days.
