Tank ideas

spot012 Aug 07, 2004 09:23 PM

Sorry...I need to vent. I bought a baby leo from Petco not too long ago. It hadn't eaten in 3 weeks and I was a bit worried. I took it to the vet, and it is worm and parasite LOADED. I spent quite a bit on the vet bill and I'm hoping my leo will recover.(fingers crossed)

Ok now..does anyone have any advice on what i could do to make my tank better? I don't have any pictures but, it's 10 gallons, paper-towel substrate, tupperware moist hide and a log hide. Anything I could add to make it look nicer?

Thanks for listening to my whining and thanks in advance for any advice.

If you are going for looks there are a couple of things your could do. Firstly you could go to tile substrate. I love the looks of mine. and secondly you can buy a comercial hide for them, I use the caves you can purchase online or from any pet store worth a lick.

Your set up sounds good for a baby, it will be easier to keep tabs on him while he's recovering too! But heres a pic of my 40g set up.
