Eggs stuck to lay box!!

jesseter Aug 08, 2004 06:17 AM

Okay I am happy becuase this is my new girls first clutch!! Unfortunately she kicked all the substrate out and laid it right on the lay box. I ended up cutting it apart and putting the eggs and all in the incubator. Do I have to worry about them not incubating correctly becuase they are attached to the plastic?! Any information is appreciated!! Thanks all!!

You did exactly what you should. Now try to build up some vermiculite/perlite around the eggs and moisten to help keep the humidity right.

I had posted earlier today about eggs, but no one addressed my question. What should I do now that I see some fluffy white "mold" on one of the eggs. It has been in the incubator for 24 days. The full question/info is in the post by me this morning.
