So, a freakin wierd thing just happened to me ...

I was messin around with my hissers, trying to find a big male that I could give to my monitor. Well, when i poked it, to see if its a male, it hissed. Everything sounds ok fromthis point, and i cant see if it has horns or not. Here is the funky thing, when I moved the egg flat, it was everting an egg sac!!!!!!! Now, I was under the impression that females do not hiss. This was understood by me through a plethera of web sites, and from fellow hisser breeders. Now you can see why this was a bit alarming. Has anyone else had their females hiss, or do i have hermaferdites on my hands. If the latter is the case, WOO HOO!!!! That is awesome, Ill have tones of babies. Help me out guys, this is a shock to the system.

Sure, both sexes hiss--the males just tend to do it more often and more vigorously.
