Good luck on Novia's weight gaining program! Do you think that perhaps she is dehydrated? Do you ever see her drink? My male Collared, Kyle, was once as boney as Novia because I could not get him to drink water. My vet told me to drench my crickets with a vitamin spray just before I fed them to my lizards. This way they would consume extra moisture when feeding. So, I started using Fluker's brand Liquid Vitamin spray. It contains vitamins, amino acids, minerals and electrolytes. It's good stuff. Within, just one week Kyle was of normal weight. Give it a shot. I really think it will help, whether its the nutrients she needs or the hydration.
Great! I'll go out ASAP and get the stuff you just mentioned!
I've seen her drink from her dish a few times, it's just that the pet store did NOT care for her well at all. The other lizards seemed to be okay, including a "baby" monitor lizard, but poor Novia was just in terrible condition. (I've only had her since yesterday, in case you didn't see any of my other posts)
Thanks for the info!
