I did receive a suggestion that I will follow up on. That is to get a second opinion. Just to be sure, as this is so darn important!
One strange thing about this is that, he got sick the first time about a year ago. They did a fecal check, and found an unidentified bacterial infection. Gave him a shot, and he got better. His appetite slacked off a bit, he did not gain a lot of weight, but he wasn't realy underweight either, and he grew about six inches. Many times, he would wedge his butt up to the crack at the bottom of the cage door, and crap so that it would run down onto, and into Gidny's cage. She is absolutely fine, maybe even a little OVERweight. If this is what he had, and he had it back then, and his crap has run down the front of her cage, why isn't she sick too?
