I know most of you have babies of your own at the mo, but this is our first lot.......a surprise clutch, and so far successful.....numbers 8 and 9 are on their way today, and still 7 eggs left to hatch!!

They are amel corn x great plains ratsnake.........the 'normals' have very little orange on them, anyone know if this will change in any way as they grow?

Hey very nice snakes, congrats! Yes, in my experience the normal corns are often very dark when young and get more orange as they grow.

They may not develop a lot of orange since they are half great plains. They will probably stay a little darker. Nice babies however they turn out.
