Hey,
Today I lost one of my best males, if not, the best male ever, Tank! He was a black blood male that I received Christmas Eve. What a nightmare week this has been for me. Anyhow, I just got in from the vets, and he'll be performing a post mortem, and sending tissue samples out to the pathologist for testing. I'm so bummed about it, but am hopeful something will show up. It was sudden and without warning. Argh! I still can't believe it. At any rate, I'll keep everyone posted.

Sorry to hear that. I love these snakes as much or more then you do and would hate to wake up to a dead one. Was he one of Jeffs snakes? Was it showing any signs at all of being ill? Let me know what the results say. BTW, not to rub it in or anything, but my black blood collection is up to 14 now(5.9), some from about every line that exists However, only 5(2.3) of them are ready to breed this coming season, possibly a 6th if she keeps eating like a beast over the next few months. All the rest are babies or yearlings and wont be ready for at least a year or longer. Im going to post pics soon(yeah, I know youre still waiting from last time, lol.) Take care, hope your other bloods are doing good. Later!

Sorry to hear about the loss, it always sucks when you lose an animal, especially really good ones, hope you can fine out what if anything was wrong with him.

Dang man, what a week....

I know it doesn't seem like much, but I did want to extend my condolencses on the loss of your friend. Then to lose an animal on top of everything else....hang in there!

Hey Blood friends,
I am so grateful to everyone that replied to my post, and replied with their condolence and well wishes. I am sure that you have all experienced loss at some point in your lives too and know the effect that it can have and the toll that it can take on your being. Anyhow, all of that said, my appreciation for being there and extending your best to me. Thanks from the bottom of my heart.
